Terms of service & software licence Version 17 October 2026 Who provides Mixxit Mixxit is developed and licensed by Lennard Metselaar, trading as Mixxit DJ Software, a Netherlands sole proprietorship. Business address: Graaf Willem de Oudenlaan 28, 1412 AV Naarden, Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 42188731. Contact: info@mixxit.app. Mixxit is available for macOS, including a free trial and paid licences. Windows is coming soon. Check the download page for current availability and system requirements. Your licence A one-time purchase grants a non-exclusive licence to use the purchased major version of Mixxit without a recurring subscription charge, subject to these terms. The software is licensed, not sold. Personal and professional use are permitted. Your licence covers macOS and Windows when the respective releases are available and allows one activated computer at a time in total. Check the download page for current availability and system requirements. Platform coverage does not promise identical features or project compatibility. Activation and moving computers Internet access is required to activate and periodically validate a licence. Save your work and deactivate your old computer before activating another with the same key. On macOS, use Deactivate this Mac in Settings; signing out alone does not release an activation. If the old computer is unavailable, contact info@mixxit.app with your order reference for assistance. Do not share or resell your key except where applicable law permits transfer. We may verify purchase ownership when helping with activation. Offline access On macOS, a successfully validated licence can work offline for up to 14 days after its last successful validation. Reconnect to restore access if that period expires. A temporary connection failure does not cancel your purchase. This offline period is separate from the free trial. Your licence does not guarantee indefinite compatibility with future operating systems or uninterrupted availability of online services. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Free trial and Preview Mode The free trial lasts 14 days and requires no payment card. Verify your email in the app and explicitly start the trial. Downloading, accepting terms or verifying your email alone does not start it. The trial does not automatically become a purchase or subscription and does not automatically charge you. After expiry, Preview Mode lets you open existing projects and listen in 30-second previews; creating, importing, editing and exporting require a licence. Your saved projects and original audio remain yours. Reinstalling or signing in again does not restart an existing trial. Updates and future offers Updates within your purchased major version are included. Future paid major-version upgrades are optional and are not included unless expressly offered. Choosing not to upgrade does not cancel your licence for the version you purchased. Any updates and remedies required by applicable law remain available under that law. If we later offer subscriptions or different pricing for new purchases, existing purchases retain their agreed rights and do not automatically become subscriptions. Purchases and delivery Checkout is provided by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. The final price, applicable taxes, payment methods and delivery details are shown before you pay. Your purchase receipt provides your licence information. Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms also apply to the transaction. Contact info@mixxit.app if you cannot obtain or activate your purchased licence. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy provides a 14-day post-purchase refund window independently of the free trial. Your music, projects and obligations You retain your rights in your music, projects and exported mixes. You must have the rights necessary to use, copy and share that material; buying Mixxit does not grant rights to third-party music. Keep backups of projects and source audio. Do not distribute unauthorised copies, bypass licence restrictions, share access beyond your entitlement or use Mixxit unlawfully. These restrictions do not remove interoperability, research, reverse-engineering or other rights granted by applicable law. Open-source components remain governed by their own licences and accompanying notices. Privacy and optional reporting The Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing. Accepting these terms does not grant consent to optional analytics, diagnostics or marketing. App basic usage and diagnostics require opt-in; detailed usage is a separate choice. Website analytics also requires its own choice. Declining optional reporting does not reduce your purchased or trial features. Ending use, changes and responsibility You may stop using and uninstall Mixxit at any time. A material licence breach may lead to termination after notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it where appropriate. Refunding a purchase ends the licence granted by that purchase; it does not transfer ownership of your own projects or music. Material changes to these terms will be presented appropriately; publishing different terms does not by itself replace an existing agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits statutory rights, conformity, remedies, refunds or withdrawal where doing so would be unlawful. Law and questions Dutch law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Consumers retain access to competent courts and other remedies available under applicable law. For support, privacy questions, complaints or refund requests, contact info@mixxit.app.
