Mixxit began with a simple wish: the straightforward mix-making experience we missed from the old MixMeister. A place to choose good tracks, work on the transitions and enjoy making a recorded DJ mix.

Make a recorded mix at your own pace
Bring in your local audio files, add tracks to a timeline and overlap neighbouring clips. Listen, move a transition, adjust it and listen again. There is no live performance to keep up with.
The best part? You can try that transition again.
You choose how the tracks fit together
Mixxit analyses BPM and musical key. You choose the tracks and decide when to apply Match Tempo. It does not choose your next track or automatically make your mix.
Match Tempo changes a clip’s speed by up to ±8%, which also changes pitch. Beat alignment is a separate step. Use volume, EQ and effects to shape the transition, then listen to the result.
Keep the project. Export the mix.
Save an editable Mixxit project to return to later. Export WAV or MP3 when you want an audio file to listen to or share. Projects refer to your original audio files, so keep those files available.
What to know before switching
- Mixxit is being prepared for macOS and Windows. See the download page for availability and system requirements.
- Mixxit does not import MixMeister project files. You can bring in your original supported audio files and rebuild the arrangement.
- The 14-day trial starts only after you verify your email and explicitly start it in the app. No payment details are required.
